A typical day at the Hildebrandt house mostly consists of mac computers and music. We are constantly editing or working on something. And Erik is always playing some new music while he edits videos.
Today he is working on some worship videos for the words to play over during praise and worship. I'm excited to see what he comes up with.
We have been keeping busy in other areas as well:
Our house has been pretty cold most of the time, even when it is set to 70 degrees! So, we have been brain storming ways to cut back on an expensive bill without having to spend a fortune at this point in time. One way was to put some type of window plastic From Home Depot over a few of our windows. Yes this doesn't sound very attractive, and it is only temporary, but, I think it has helped a bit. Plus, Erik did such a good job at this it looks like an optical illusion.. you would have no idea there is plastic over the windows if you came over.
I have been experimenting with the food we have in our cupboards and fridge. I made a home made vegetable soup with sushi rice! It might look like mush in the picture, but it was so good! So good that when I asked Erik yesterday to make me a list of anything he wanted from the grocery store, all his list said was - Vegetable soup
And we have had some of my family from both Indiana & Illinois in town this past week! My cousins were here from Indiana! They stayed the night at our house, and so did my sisters.. we had a blast! We also have my grandma in town and more family coming this week as well!
So, other than work and staying busy, we haven't been up to much. Can't wait to have some updates of a typical day in the Hildebrandt house with photos of one or two new little Hildebrandts added to the equation. But, I guess only time will tell if that is something in our near future, or not for quite some time.
Off to make more vegetable soup!
