I thought it would be nice to help guide other families interested through this process via blog... but, a while back many families had been informed not to write specifics on their blogs or social networking sites pertaining to their adoption process.
So, I am sorry if I have been lacking much detail about where were are at in our process on here.
But, I totally agree. And, I'm sure less info is probably less boring to most readers anyway.
Therefore, I will not go into any detail.. but, have attached a photo of myself & my mom mailing something pertaining to a possible step forward in our process. - Hope you love my awesome Photoshop skills - I managed to take the addresses totally out of the envelope! ha ha
Just to keep some people from freaking out about what this new step is, we have not received a referral yet (they have not matched us with any children yet) - just experiencing some possible steps forward in our process. :)

While I was out mailing things with my mom... Erik was in Chicago with the staff from Metro doing this --->

They went to Chicago for a leaders event that was happening. I am glad he was able to go to this. He seems to have been really challenged by the event, as well as by the rest of the staff at Metro. He reminded me of how extremely thankful he is for the people who head up our Church.
